In 2001, Matt completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney. He started out his career at Bankstown Hospital, where he loved the patients and staff so much, he stayed for over 20 years!
While working at Bankstown, in 2011, Matt completed a Diploma of Management. For 9 years he managed a team of over 50 physiotherapists, then joined the hospital executive as Director of Allied Health and was responsible for managing over 150 allied health staff.
Matt opened Physio Inq Menai in 2023. Matt’s business mantra is ‘change lives.’ Employees have the power to change the lives of each person they treat, and at the same time, he aims to change the lives of his staff, ensuring they achieve a work-life balance and get what they want out of work.
In his younger days, Matt represented Sydney in cricket and taught kids’ karate while making his way through university. He currently enjoys bushwalking with his wife, and daughter, and road cycling.
Clinic Co-Owner + Manager
Alison joins Physio Inq Menai with over 20 years of experience working in the Health and Community sectors. After completing a Diploma of Community Services (Welfare) in 2000, Alison worked in youth health education. Alison went on to complete a Bachelor of Social Work in 2005 and while studying, worked in community development for a local council, focusing on Health and Disability portfolios. After graduating, Alison moved into the child protection arena, followed by Women and Children’s Health, working as a Senior Social Worker at a large urban hospital. Alison then went on to complete a Masters of Social Science degree in 2012, and took up a role coordinating a large paediatric health program for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. More recently, Alison has been working for a not-for-profit organisation, providing emergency relief casework and community development projects, to vulnerable members of the community.
Alison is excited to be taking on this new role with Physio Inq Menai. Her vision is to bring public health values of equity and access to the private sector. Outside of work, Alison enjoys practicing yoga and pilates and bushwalking with her family.
Arben has always had a passion for all things fitness and sports, which has seen him participate in numerous sports including rugby league, martial arts and compete in powerlifting at an international level. This passion fostered an interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, subsequently leading to his involvement in rugby league for the under 20’s South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Canterbury Bulldogs teams. More recently, Arben had been working in the Women’s NRL game and was the inaugural physiotherapist for the Wests Tigers NRLW team.
Arben's management of injury incorporates a both hands-on and exercise-based approach. He believes in ensuring all patients have an understanding of their injury with a focus on education for long-term effectiveness. Arben's primary focus is to help patients feel their best and improve their quality of life by tailoring treatment to their individual goals. When not in the clinic, Arben enjoys spending time with his young family and going for hikes.
Liam Delle Coste
Remedial Massage Therapist
Liam is an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist having completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage and Certificate IV in Massage Therapy. Liam has experience with deep tissue and remedial massage, relaxation massage, and sports massage.
Liam has extensive experience in the sports field having previously completed a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science. He has a long sporting history working with sporting clubs such as a trainer for Southern Districts Rugby.
Liam is very personable and enjoys working with clients and within the team. He joins the team having worked at a number of massage clinics as well as operating his own Remedial Massage business out of his home.
Liam is passionate about working with clients of all ages and goals. He enjoys working with athletes, the elderly and people with a disability. He loves working with people who are experiencing pain or those where a disability is impairing their function as he finds those people can often benefit the most from his therapy.
Liam is very family and sport-orientated spending much of his spare time between family and soccer.
Senior Client Relationship Manager
Mel joins the team with decades of customer service experience. She ran her own business for nearly a decade, being a finalist in the Bankstown local business awards on a number of occasions, as a testament to her focus on putting people first.
Besides managing our admin team, Mel manages her sons T-ball team, and her busy household with 2 young kids. They enjoy going to the beach or local pool, and taking their puppy Freddy for a walk after school.
Mel loves a chat, as in a past career Mel used to be a hairdresser. Mel’s great to have around for special occasions, as she used to run her own cookie / cupcake-making business! Her guilty pleasure is watching trashy TV after the kids have gone to bed.
Client Relationship Manager
Jade joins the team as an experienced Client Relationship Manager having worked previously at another nearby clinic. Jade has a passion for excellent customer service having also worked as a Pharmacy assistant for several years.
Jade has been a keen dancer since age 2! Her passion in the sports and health field, her eagerness to contribute to the local community, as well as her enjoyment of working with kids, led her to become a dance and ballet teacher for many years in a voluntary and later paid capacity.
Jade has a keen interest in exercise, sports and nutrition, which led her to study a Bachelor of Exercise Science. She enjoys working with clients and the team to further her career in the health field.
When not dancing or working with us you might catch Jade at a local beach or doing anything outdoors. Jade loves spending time with family and friends.
Client Relationship Manager
Katie has a passion for helping people and the community. She loves working with kids, having worked as a before and after school care educator, as well as running children’s programs at Padstow Community Church.
Katie works with us while currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work so she can further her role in health and in helping people and the community.
Outside of work she enjoys reading, going to concerts and playing sport with her friends.
